Over the past couple of years we have had END OF THE WORLD conspiracies puke all over us. To me, the obsession with promoting any form of negativity such as THE END, well, death in other words is my greatest hate. I have watched someone very close to me die and I have felt the chill of death on my hands and lips. I had preconceptions that experiencing death would convince me to believe that seeing the life being slowly drawn out of someone would mark a depressing end. But, the experience has highlighted the necessity to focus on eternity and to believe greatly in everlasting love. It is incredible to know that there are some reassuringly-positive cultures out there who believed that the day marked a new beginning, a reason to celebrate a whole lotta happiness on 21/12/2012. Some beautiful friends of mine flew to Israel to experience and rejoice in a shared belief that the day was responsible for the Earth's transformation into a new dimension and a new state of higher consciousness. On the 21st of December, Ben and Craig meditated for 24hrs with just short of 200 people, they saw double rainbows on two occasions and they cried from the feeling of intense love. Although I find the events that took place difficult to grasp, their intense focus on positivity and love is unbelievably incredible.

What are the reasons for Israel being the country of highest positive energy on the 21st?
Apparently a lot. I didn't previously know much about Israel and I still couldn't answer that question completely. It has a pretty intense history (Jesus and that), lots of sacred sites, lots of consciousness and lots of war, and who knows what else?
Me and my brother Craig who visited for 4 days to celebrate the shift into the Golden Age; the work of our spiritual friend Gabriel Cousens is why I would consider it to be the highest energy place for us - A Spiritual Gathering - Opening the Gates to Liberation…and we did it!
Gabriel is Hebrew, Jewish or Israeli, I don't know. So I guess with his history, that was the place to be. With his books and the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center and community in Arizona, he has completely revolutionised holistic living with a focus on uplifting all of humanity and awakening Kundalini. Gabriel shares his wisdom and great understanding of our inner potential and inner technology which we have forgotten. He invited me at the Tree on his 70th birthday whilst munching on some raw cherry pie. I knew there would be something special in store (plus the Mayans and others have been releasing information and practices for the first time ever, and Gabriel is down with the Mayans)...Or maybe mine and Craig's higher selves are a bit homosexual, and knew we would be stripped naked by Israeli policemen upon arriving. You never know. So whatever resonates with YOU was the highest positive energy place to be for the shift. If you're not into this kind of thing, going from the -7 degree temperatures of England to the 28+ degrees of Israel by the Dead Sea was reason enough.
Were there many people of various cultures and religions at the meditation?
Yes, lots. Mainly Israeli people, and I'm not sure about the religious practices of most Tree people. At the Tree of Life they work with everyone. Gabriel is part of many cultures and studies many different practices; updating and incorporating it all into the activities and the spiritual guidance so that it is all inclusive and works for the world we live in today; Judaism, Essene, Kabbalah, Yogic, Native American, Mayan, Ayuvedic, Taoist etc. The result is an incredible understanding of our connectivity with all religions, cultures, and all of life. It's lots and lots of fun; not clinging to any beliefs, playing around with it all the time. The feeling was like being welcomed into the loving joyful family that we'd never met, or had we?
What types of meditation did you do over the 24 hours?
Right through the height of the shift, on the 20th to the 21st, from evening to evening, we did a continuous chanting meditation to uplift the planet. This meditation is the closest I've been to what I feel is my natural state; a quiet mind, predominant feeling of unconditional love in my heart, energy surging up from above and below me, a colourful donut shaped torroidial energy field unfolding around my body (Side note - Nikola Tesla discovered this field and mimicked it externally to create a free energy machine) ..connecting me with the Earth and what seems to be the source of creation, nourishing every cell of my body. I felt it expand out to the whole Earth and it got way more intense. (If anyone hasn't read the "meditation effect" studies on how group intention or prayer can drop crime rates, check it out!)
I directly experienced a physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual healing through this, (as did everyone else in the room I'm sure) through collectively sending out our healing intention to the whole planet. In giving, you receive.
The intention and inner workings of the meditation involves letting the mind become still through repetitive mantra and feeling the stream of energy coming from the source, into the physical world, through the earth, into our bodies. Aligning ourselves with the earth and the source. It is called a Scaler Wave. I can't say I totally understand but I have experienced it.
This is the new information and inner technology that is being released by the Mayans through people like Gabriel and Drunvalo Melchizedek.
What feelings did you have after 24 hours of meditating?
Uplifted and inspired on every level, an expanded love for all of life, and completely full to the brim with joy. Me and Craig couldn't stop smiling and laughing the whole time (which disturbed a few meditations) and we still haven't stopped feeling this infinite joy and gratitude for everything in our lives since. "I don't think we will ever come down" - Says Craig.

A double rainbow 2 thirds of the way across the sky! Right on the Galactic Alignment. There was a storm when we arrived and there are never storms in Israel especially not where we were, it didn't seem to make any sense to the Israeli's, other than the fact that it was 2012. Then there was another double rainbow the next day.
Every moment of it was extraordinary, but most of all was the open heartedness of the people there. We made over 100 new best friends. And of course the collective healing work we did over the course of the event.
Did the experience teach you anything?
I did learn a lot for the people there but for the experience I had, I wouldn't use the word 'teach'. What I got and came away with was more of a remembering of my natural state of Love Peace Joy Harmony and Contentment. I am now acting on everything that excites me, doing and planning for everything that will uplift myself and the planet.
As Gabriel is involved with the Mayan culture, is there an explanation as to how this day is renowned for its marking of great change?
Erm, he is in contact with Don Alejandros, the head of the Mayan council and along with his own practice and experience with this new inner technology that has been released to the world, he clarified and made a guided visualisation meditation out of it.
Through sound and image we can upgrade our DNA and heal anything, with the help of connecting with the Scaler Wave prior to time and space we create a situation of "already healed".
